Please join the Spurlark Award in celebrating the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. by participating in our virtual day of service.
This virtual day of service is our attempt to shine a light during remarkably difficult times. Through intentional and small acts of kindness we can make a lasting impact on someone in need.
We have several suggestions below of local activities to do in honor of Dr King.
We've also identified some recent graduates of Hyde Park Academy and Kenwood Academy who are currently enrolled in college, certification programs and other professional training activities, but who could otherwise use your support. We've list descriptions and circumstances for individuals who would benefit greatly from items listed here for donation.
Please take a moment to reflect on our combined humanity and the future these young people are creating for themselves and their families. We hope you'll brighten the path of a young person in training with your thoughtful generosity. You can create positive change today.
